I was floored by the fact that I could find a casual, non-hotel based cocktail place around SoHo!  Huge spot up a flight of stairs, the crowd is mixed with after work groups, dates, and people just meeting for a drink.  Service is friendly, cocktails at cocktail prices, taste fine.
