Wicker Park (3rd Ave. and 83rd St.)

If the crowd from the Kentucky Derby were to be magically transported to an Upper East Side bar, they would, within all probability, land here.  Oddly enough, I was in here for the Belmont Stakes.  Anywho, for a bar, it’s a classy but not obnoxiously so.  I just felt awkward in here with jeans and a t-shirt, even after 1 in the morning, when it turns into a club of just one big open space and a total shitshow.  The beers are average prices, taste alright, the service is decent and they have lots of TV’s.
